Patient Assessment and Care Planning:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including musculoskeletal issues, pain levels, and mobility abilities.

Pre- and Post-Operative Care:

Pain Management:

• Administer medications and manage pain effectively, monitoring for side effects and allergies.
• Employ various pain management techniques, including physical therapy, medication, and patient-controlled analgesia (PCA).

Patient Education:

• Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and recovery process.
• Provide instructions on wound care, medication management, and activities to promote healing.

Medication Administration:

• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Monitor patients for medication side effects and report any concerns to the physician.

Teamwork and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive environment for patients and staff.

Other Duties:

• Collect blood, urine, and tissue samples for laboratory testing.
