DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handled different types of neonatal cases and management of term and extreme preterm babies, including those weighing under 500 grams and many with congenital anomalies and cardiovascular problems.
  • Perform ABGs, setting up and monitoring mechanical ventilators and other respiratory care equipment, intravenous cannulation and blood extraction for investigations, insertion of gastric tubes, and jejunostomy tube stomach wash.
  • Administering oral and IV medications.
  • Admission and discharge of the patient
