More About Me

Currently i am unemployed as I have three small children, my youngest has just started school. I am currently doing a 2 year course in family learning with Warwickshire county council which at the end will give me opportunity to go on to Warwick University to do a bachelors honours degree in children's mental health.

I believe this job role would be perfect for me as over the years in a lot of my job roles I have worked either preparing food or serving food. In my time as a support worker I have  prepared and served breakfasts, lunch and dinners around each clients dietary needs. I have attended food tech workshops at Stockingford Primary School with my eldest son, where we made different foods and learnt about different textures and taste. Currently on my family learning course, the unit i am studying is Cooking In A Domestic Kitchen. In this unit i have learnt many techniques to prep and cook meals. I have studied different recipes and different ingredients. I have learnt about health and safety in a kitchen, how to clean and put away equipment efficiently and safely.
