With over 20 years experience in local government, I understand the complexity of progression and development within this environment. My career has been diverse and includes an extensive period of time with Bournemouth Borough Council's IT department working in the parameters of ITIL across numerous teams including IT hardware and software procurement, asset management throughout its lifecycle including start up and progression of a CMDB and production of data analytics for Service Heads using Power BI. Over the years, this knowledge was key in understanding and maximising the use of CRM tools to maximise income, efficiencies and customer experience. I also spent time on the Change Advisory Board in the role of Configuation Asset Co-ordinator.
I am continously learning and studying new methods to improve my skillset having been fortunate enough to work alongside extremely competent and knowledgeable managers over my career. I have built many strong relationships within the Council and believe I have gained respect from my colleagues with regards to my work ethic, ability to meet deadlines and provide consistent, reliable information on which strong business cases can be built.
