Personal Statement: Highly Motivated Manager with over 30 years of experience with a proven track record of managing at the highest levels and standards. Received special commendation from my Regional Director for turning around a poor performing warehouse operation which was having negative effects on the store operation to within 4 months being used as the model for all regional warehouse managers as what an excellent job looks like. Specifically requested to take Management roles in numerous store openings which have all opened with exceptional standards and enormous success. As I Manager in a Store of Learning I trained all ‘new to business' managers which all new Management go through before starting their new roles with the company. I was responsible for managing up to 120 staff members daily. I am an ambitious person and am looking to further my career in Senior Management positions.   • Every 3 weeks planning and implementing a full promotional setup change over, Planning and implementing all big seasonal changes and ensuring all layout changes are completed in the relevant timescales
  • Holding the role of Trading Manager for 6 months during the company restructure and improving standards and KPI results during this time.

Warehouse Manager

  • Seconded into his role to take over a severely underperforming Warehouse, to the extent it was causing the whole store operation to suffer
  • Fully reviewed every process in the warehouse and installed new ways of working
  • Retrained all staff members in all aspect of how the warehouse should operate and followed up on anyone not following these standards
  • Worked with Head office and the Distribution Centres to ensure only the correct stock quantities were delivered
  • Within 4 months it was operating as smoothly as it could and every warehouse manager in the region visited my warehouse to see what I had done take back to their warehouses the processes I had implemented.
