In my previous role I was responsible for working with students (& adults) who experienced a wide range of emotional and psychological problems such as depression, anxiety and stress and If I could be part of alleviating those stresses and strains it brought me great personal satisfaction. I enjoy working with a diverse clientele in which I'm always learning, I am not an Island, I'm part of a wider community.
I'm passionate with affecting change for people struggling to deal with their emotions and whatever blocks their path to self-actualisation. In my role as SENCO of the BRIT School It was my responsibility to devise the school strategy to help ensure that every child who is classified as SEN is supported to help them reach their full educational potential. I led a team of eighteen teaching assistant which was my greatest resource and upskilling and supporting them was a crucial SENCO role.
