As a Clinical Application Specialist, I provide hands-on training to clinical staff and internal employees, improving their knowledge and confidence with using the equipment. The role includes problem-solving, resolving any image quality issues, giving suggestions on the recommended doses and ensuring customer satisfaction through good communication. Being available and working closely with various divisions in the company is imperative for smooth operations and up-to-date communication, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

• Prioritisation of patients depending on their medical needs and the patient pathway they are under.
• Knowing how to deal with a stressful, busy environment, prioritising and liaising have all been valuable transferable skills I've acquired in the clinical setting.
• Conducting daily Quality Assurance Tests and ensuring a recording is visible on local documents found on the I-drive.
• Ensuring requests have been reviewed and checked in a timely manner, whilst leaving an accessible record other staff to keep track of the patient.
• Liaising with staff members to ensure all theatre cases have been completed on RiSE with evidence of doses recorded on systems Covering emergency fluoroscopy cases in our Paediatric Department which includes intussusception and removal or changes of naso-jejunal tube
• To protocol CT requests which fall in line with our agreement with stroke team for a CTA which includes the carotids

• Acted as a General coordinator to ensure that there are enough staff in each areas within the Imaging Department
• Communicated with the management team to help with the distribution of staff if there were absences to ensure that all areas were covered and patient care was not compromised
• Provided key visibility and point of contact for Radiographic Student's who were new to the hospital by supporting them during their training through teaching and verbally asking if they needed any help or guidance related to their support and wellbeing.
• Implemented and acted upon the trust values to ensure patient safety and priority has been versified amongst all patients, with the correct steps and protocols were followed in accordance with the trust policy and local rules

• Began my career as a Junior Radiographer in plain film imaging which had included working in Neurology department where patients had presented with specific and niche Neurological conditions.
• Adapting and changing the common standard use of techniques during critical stages of when patients present with various presentations by ensuring optimal and diagnostic images are being acquired throughout
• Performing daily and monthly Quality Insurance Tests
• Participated in an audit which had included information collected of how patients that were admitted to the imaging department to reduce near misses and reduce the likelihood of accidents occurring
• Contributed to smooth, high-volume patient flow, following established procedures to maintain manageable work flow in a highly busy departmen
