• I was responsible for the Garden Café at Upfunt House, part of the Fiveways Artists Open Houses in May 2023 and 2024, and then, in 2025, became an artist selling my handmade jewellery.

My role included:

• Serving cakes and snacks; preparing and serving teas, coffees and other refreshments.
• Maintaining hygiene and display
• Advising customers of product details, including allergens
• Selling my own crafts to customers
• Handled cash transactions accurately whilst ensuring secure storage of earnings.
• Utilised social media platforms for effective promotion.

• As a yard volunteer (Three Greys) and during work experience (Rottingdean), I was responsible for yard maintenance and animal care (grooming, cleaning); working with the public (e.g., leading riding lessons at Three Greys); and working in teams with varying roles and levels of experience.

• Baby, children’s and maternitywear shop, buying and selling lightly used clothing. A retail supervisor, I worked alone and as part of a team, responsible for:
• Sales and purchasing of goods from clients
• Handling payments (ingoing and outgoing)
• Pricing items for sale
• Creating displays (shop window and interior)
• Dealing with client complaints/concerns when necessary

• Home decorating shop. As retail sales assistant, I worked as part of a team, and was responsible for:
• Assisting customers, greeting and engaging them to assess their needs
• Replenishing displays and sales floor with stock as needed
• Designing and creating decorative flower arrangements for purchase
• Gift wrapping items for customers
• Assisting with inventory checks
