NG Bailey is a national construction firm. I tested key internal controls on [important] business processes including construction processes, financial systems including control accounts and adherence to statutory requirements. I reviewed the findings with the relevant managers, agreed actions and drafted the audit reports. I followed up on the reports to ensure that agreed recommendations had been implemented.

I initially started at Vertex in the consultancy team primarily to develop and monitor business cases. My role extended into reviewing existing processes and recommending changes to drive efficiencies or improve controls.

I was then promoted to the role of Finance Manager for the Consultancy and IT support area of the business.
