Project Description

• The devolved government for Scotland is responsible for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the people of Scotland, including health, education, justice, rural affairs, and transport
• The Scottish Government was known as the Scottish Executive when it was established in 1999 following the first elections to the Scottish Parliament
• The current administration was formed after elections in May 2007
• The Government's Purpose: To focus government and public services on creating a more successful country, with opportunities for all of Scotland to flourish, through increasing sustainable economic growth
• Responsibilities:
• Analyzing and Developing as per the requirements
• Worked on Intelligence Evidence Gathering, Notifications, Batches, Rules and Modelling using Rational Software Architect.
• Helped team members technically when ever needed
• Attending daily stand-up, sprint review and retros
• Review code and Merge it into Main branch
• Resolving Conflicts while merging code from upstream branches
• supported in release activities
• Worked on defect fixes and excellent in troubleshooting
• Supported during production deployment and provided hot fixes when required on time
• Worked on new Enhancements in the application and on proof of concepts as well
• Junits were written for code coverage.

Project Name : Department of Work & pensions

Project Description:

• DWP is the UK Government’s Department for Work and Pensions which takes care of Government granted allowances of people
• Personal Independence Payment (PIP) helps with some of the extra costs caused by long-term ill-health or a disability if aged 16 to 64
• DWP PIPCS is based on Curam SPM implementation
• Learnt Curam framework and the functionalities while being a resource of DWP PIPCS team
• This was a development project which also had the defect fixes and the testing team
• Assisted the team in producing Technical Designs based on Use Cases using Rational Enterprise Architect to enable traceability and documentation of the customization done in Curam SPM
• Assisted in estimation of the resources and person days for modules involving Case management, Rules and Eligibility, Reassessment
• Attended 12- week rigorous training at Mphasis from Curam COE experts on IBM Curam SPM V7.X Modules
• Responsibilities:
• Attending daily stand-up, sprint review and retros
• Analyze use case documents and develop modules in Curam
• Customized Curam framework to meet the client requirements
• Model the process class and strut classes in Rational Rose
• Worked on Intelligence Evidence Gathering, Notifications, Batches.
• Worked on UIM's and VIM's for Screen development
• Unit level testing for each developed module
• Implemented code for Junit test cases
• Excellent in trouble shooting of issues occurred in the code and worked with testing team for bug fixes
• Involved in deployment activities.
