Work experience for a week:

• Assisted with lesson preparation and supported students during independent workhelping them develop confidence in scientific concepts.
• Worked alongside sign technician to prepare practical.
• Carried out titration as a demo and assisted students to carry out their own titration.

• Prepared meals and drinks to patients during dinner and tea rounds, making sure everyone received the correct meals.
• Heated and plated meals before delivering them to patients who are allowed to eat.
• Spent time talking with patients and checking whether they needed any additional support during meal times.
• Cleared away meal trays and kept the ward organised by returning equipment and tidying serving areas.
• Gained first-hand experience of working in a busy clinical environment and saw the importance of teamwork, communication and treating every patient with kindness and respect.
