Summary

Teaching is one of the careers I had been certain of since my first work experience as a teaching assistant at my previous school. My school’s motto: ‘creating an education for living’ has been imprinted in my mind through the years, as ‘education’ truly enriches life, it has allowed me to think of myself as limitless. I am an experienced UK educator with seven years of experience across Key Stages 2 and 3, including independent teaching of History and English in secondary education, as well as primary classroom support and targeted intervention. Currently completing an MA in Education (History) at UCL Institute of Education, with a specialist interest in history education, curriculum design, identity and inclusive pedagogy. Skilled in lesson planning, assessment, differentiation, classroom management and curriculum development. Particularly passionate about helping students develop historical thinking, critical enquiry and a sense of belonging through the curriculum. I am currently seeking an international school position from September/October 2026, ideally with employer-supported iQTS/QTS, or PGCE/iPGCE development. I am a highly motivated educator with a passion for creative lesson planning and community engagement, who brings a collaborative spirit and critical thinking skills to adapt teaching methods for varied learning needs. Committed to empowering students through innovative approaches to education. Dedicated professional aiming to formalise Qualified Teacher Status through a PGCE in History. I aspire to contribute to educational reform while instilling a love for learning in students, and utilise my background in music and history to enrich classroom experiences and foster cultural awareness.
