Work history

Director (Life Sciences Operations Transformation)

Deloitte Consulting UK
08.2008 - 06.2025

Experienced leader in Life Sciences advisory, working with a range of Pharma & Biotech companies (global scale, mid-cap, PE backed) on driving strategic decisions through to operational performance. Key features of my advisory and delivery experience:

  • Enterprise value engineering - working with senior stakeholders to identify value opportunities to drive business growth and innovation, optimise margin and cost. This involve bringing a holistic understanding of the R&D value chain across clinical research, clinical development, regulatory affairs, drug safety / pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, and quality.
  • Operating model transformation - designing and implementing operating models to enhance capability leadership of the business, optimise global/local/outsourcing models, optimise footprint and organisational design. Often this is resulting from M&A activities, growth in markets / business consolidation, enterprise cost reduction.
  • Digital transformation and Process optimisation - helping life science organisation to adopt new technology e.g. AI at an enterprise level (from ideation, through to adoption and scaling). This also include process transformation to reimagine how work is delivered, leveraging techology and process mining capabilities for continous improvement.
  • Health Equity - driving the health equity agenda with life sciences organisation through identifying points of differentiation and embedding capabilities e.g. diversity in clinical trial design and recruitment, improving evidence generation for subpopulation groups, improving access through awareness and health infrastructure.
