Additional Information

I have done a beach clean-up (2019) and fundraising for Play Action International (2019) and Project Rhino KZN (2015-2016). August 2021, I took part in the Tusk/Ninety-One Summer Programme, where I had a 1:1 call with a 12-year-old from Somerset, UK, sharing my conservation experiences with her. I have one dog and a school of koi fish. I have been exposed to animals my whole life. I love the outdoors, and with Play Action International (2019) I completed a gorilla trek to see the endangered lowland mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Park, Uganda and we built a playground for an underprivileged school in Uganda. We trekked over 50km in total over 4 days, including 3 hours tracking the gorillas through the forest. I am an adventurous person who loves challenging myself. With the ZRO I assisted in a rhino dehorning operation, changing GPS tracking devices of 2 African pangolins and perimeter checks of the fencing of two translocated lions as well as their release into the reserve where I was volunteering.
