Since my mother left for the UK to work for the NHS, me and my brother have been living with our grandparents. And although they were still working, they have medical needs that affects their mobility. My grandmother has rheumatoid arthritis, and my grandfather has asthma and COPD. So as an able young lad I did the following to assist them and help around the house. These are the following:
· Kept living area in the house presentable and clean and performed domestic tasks like washing and mopping.
· Provided emotional support to my grandparents through regular conversation and companionship.
· Assisted with mobility for my grandmother and enhancing her well-being.
· Drove my grandmother to her workplace or sometimes appointments with exemplary timekeeping and navigation skills.
· Assisted my grandparents with grocery shopping and pet care.
