during the time i started to get back into work i used to volunteer for a company called Evolve Housing with this company we give our support to young adults by helping them as much as we can. i loved the work i was doing so i decided to apply for the job. we provided housing for the homeless and helped them get back into normality, we provided workshops for numerous amounts of subjects such as building and updating your CV, paying bills and budgeting your money, lifeskills, music workshops with all equipment to be able to record your own song, even art workshops for people who love painting and taking photos. we had a communal room where we would do the workshops so anybody could feel comfortable to come and join, mainly we tried to bring the best out of everyone made everyone feel comfortable for who they are and support as much as we could.

as a kidspace employee we used to serve parents and their kids upon their arrival,where we would make sure they felt the comfortable and the friendly enviroment, at the door we handled party bookings and normal booking slots dealing with this we worked on the tills and handled cash and card payments, also engaging with parents and their kids building a rapport so that i could guide customers into being reoccurring customers, after they got their wristbands to go in either myself or another member of staff would guide them up to the main entrance where all the fun starts, upon arrival of the main entrance just to the right there is a very large seating area with tables and chairs for familys to sit down and relax there is also a cafee and restaurant which is to table service once your order has been made and paid for serving a number of variety options from a cold or hot drink, snacks, cakes to hot food such as chicken burger and chips, fish and chips and much more, i also had the previlige of delivering the food from the kitchen to the tables allocated delivering not only food but a wonderful customer experience along with food and refreshments which has been order, now beyond all of this i was also a party host assistant so when kids had private partys i would have and take joy in hosting these partys for children i would greet all of the parents and their children individually and also as a group either myself or another member of my team would escort these familys to the private party rooms as allocated where which the parents and children could get comfortable and ready for the fun times ahead, at kidspace we ran and had many activities for children all ages, if you wanted to take your few months old baby and have some fun there was also a baby space, theres a massive indoor playing/climbing facility with tunnel slides and bumpy slides for the kids we also have rock climbing for those who want to push it to the limit and just climb of course with the correct safety gear and procedures, for the those who want to go fast theres a go kart track for the kids, computer/homework room for those who want to come and learn or those who need the time to do extra work, we also run lazer tag partys after close if prebooked, during my time at kidspace it was amazing i learnt so many skills and atributes and interacted with many different types of familys parents and children, i also assisited in running and supervising these all of these fun activitys and took the effort in making sure everyone was happy and got the best customer experience for coming to spend the day at our kidpsace.
