When I was younger i cared for a family member during the 6 weeks holiday and i loved doing it, which has made my self an understanding and caring person. I believe as a result of me doing this it made me keen to care for older people and help them in any way that i can.

I really enjoyed volunteering at Durham citizen advice and it taught me how to be mature and helped me understand certain aspects i need in life to succeed and help others while doing my job. Caring for my family member during the six weeks holiday when i was younger made me feel really good about myself knowing i was helping someone else that needed help.
