I come from a place where the law was not just studied — it was survived.
Curfews, shutdowns and suspended rights shaped my earliest understanding of power and its limits.
I learned early that protest shakes the moment, but writing reshapes the system.
That is why my path leads to the Bar: to argue with precision, not volume; to reform with reasoning, not unrest.
My work, in welfare, representation, outreach and legal assistance — rests on one principle:
the pen and the paper remain the most disciplined instruments of change.
I study law to understand the machinery, to question its logic and to one day rebuild the parts that fail those who depend on it most.
Becoming a barrister is not an ambition of status, but of responsibility, to articulate what many feel but cannot frame and to turn lived experience into lawful argument.
