Coordinate and manage student work placements, internships, and industry projects in line with academic programmes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and external stakeholders.
Support students with employability skills, including CV writing, cover letters, job applications, and interview preparation.
Organise and deliver employability workshops, career events, and employer engagement activities.
Track, monitor, and report student placement outcomes and graduate destinations.
Plan and deliver leadership development workshops focusing on communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional behaviour.
Encourage student participation in leadership initiatives, mentoring schemes, and employability programmes.
Deliver Personal Development Planning (PDP) sessions as an Assistant Tutor.
Support students in identifying strengths, skills gaps, and career aspirations.
Guide students in setting and reviewing SMART academic and professional development goals.
Provide academic and pastoral support and signpost students to appropriate college services.
Assist lead tutors with monitoring student engagement, attendance, and progression.
Maintain accurate records related to placements, employer agreements, and student participation.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and placement policies.
Prepare reports and documentation to support quality assurance, audits, and inspections.
