Summary

I commenced my career in the Primary care sector undertaking my pre-registration at a community pharmacy.

Following qualification i continued as relief pharmacist and later as a locum pharmacist, I quickly became bored of this career path as found it was not challenging enough and i was motivated to seek a more clinically involved role.

I subsequently was successful in transferring into the secondary care sector as a junior pharmacist at the then Pendlebury Children's hospital. My employment here was short as after close to a year there was no sign of a training programme which i had been promised. Being motivated to develop myself and advance in my career as a hospital pharmacist, i left to take up an alternative post.

I have been employed at the Manchester Foundation Trust ever since gradually working my way up to where i am now.

I have been keen to progress to a consultant pharmacist post, however the opportunity has not presented at my current Trust as of yet.

I have always been highly motivated to deliver and promote pharmacies services within all my roles.

I believe through my extensive experience i have become an expert in medicine management and governance, specializing in the development of guidelines, SOPs, and PGDs. Demonstrated success in service development, implementing changes that enhance service delivery. Skilled in collaborating with regional stakeholders to influence joint formulary and wAMD pathways. Proficient in creating and presenting training materials, working closely with senior clinical leads to identify and resolve issues.

Monitoring progress and maintaining standards through audit and gap analysis.
