Key Achievements

• Led the implementation of a new data application that automated manual processes, enhanced data quality, improved the operating efficiency and delivered £1.8m cost savings into BUK operations.
• Implemented a BUK wide centralised risk and issues management process for Barclays Financial Assistance, consolidating data and enabling a more timely and accurate reporting platform.

Accountable for the delivery of the business plans and strategy for e-commerce global channels with a budget of £8m to drive revenue and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage e-commerce activities and programme delivery across the portfolio to meet organization objectives within time and budgetary constraints.
• Lead on changes to scope within an agreed frameworks and highlight impacts on cost and timescales.
• Track progress against plans and change assessments as part of the project assurance activities.
• Develop and secure the annual operating and technology budget plans.
• Prepare and communicate the business performance reviews on a monthly basis to the C-Level stakeholders of e-commerce.

Key Achievements

• Developed and managed the annual people and global organisational plans for global channels, including planned technology costs and sanctioned investment cases supporting HSBC's global businesses.

Outline

• Led a diverse team of business change professionals and technologists across multiple locations, London, Amsterdam and Singapore to deliver strategic change programmes across the Global Transaction Services business.
• Managed the global client exits programme by delivering a client off boarding operating model that met the strategic objectives of RBS to exit global cash management services (Global Markets, Cash, Payments, Liquidity and Trade).
• The global client exits programme reduced the operational lead times to exit clients from 18 days to 3 days.
