Daily duties -
- Responsibility for routine care, maintenance and administration of our animal collection
- Administering a wide range of medications to a variety of species when needed/veterinary appointments
- Producing task charts, feeding charts and detailed species fact sheets for students to check and adhere to
- Prepare, store and maintain equipment used for the delivery of the curriculum
- Planning and implementing practical activities for learners
- Teaching and demonstrating to students health checks, handling and restraint methods, nutritional and medical needs
- Liaise with subject tutors to ensure that practical activities are fully supported
- Driving the minibus when required
