I work in the parts department of a busy commercial vehicle multi franchise dealership.

My duties include checking in deliveries, allocating parts to the correct jobs or customers, and locating stock into appropriate locations. Entering deliveries onto computer, invoicing customers, stock checking and reordering.

Identifying parts using manufacturer systems.

Serving workshop, front counter and telephone enquiries.

Keeping the parts dept clean and tidy.

Returning items as required to manufacturers with correct paperwork.

Local parts deliveries.

Worked on the front counter of a fuel station, overseeing forecourt and shop transactions. Re-stocking, shelves and ordering stock for the shop.

Seeing in fuel deliveries, including checking fuel tank levels before and after delivery, checking paperwork, ensuring safety procedures were followed, i.e. coning off forecourt and making sure all customers have left the area.

Later progressed to office where I chashed up and balanced the daily shift sheets. Also oversaw daily Securitas cash collection. I was responsible for ordering fuel deliveries as well as shop and forecourt stock.
