An aspiring childcare worker with exceptional communication, observational, and collaboration abilities. Demonstrates empathy, patience, and initiative while maintaining excellent organisational and time management skills. Adept at fostering productive teamwork and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Committed to leveraging core competencies to achieve meaningful contributions in a dynamic work environment.
A job characterised by its ability to offer multisport activities to children across a broad age range, Premier Education offered me experience and development opportunities within childcare and activity leadership.
Delivering activities to children aged 4 to 11, I began by shadowing senior leaders to help advance my knowledge on delivery styles and behaviour management techniques; alongside completing continuous professional development (CPD) training to ensure I understood legal processes surrounding data protection, safeguarding, health and safety, prevent, and much more.
Rapidly progressing in this role, I was further challenged with independent management of children within extra curriculum settings (Both afterschool and breakfast clubs). With regular assessments and feedback forms being complete, I can understand that I was highly successful as an activity leader with assessment scores being reflective of 90+ % and continuous positive feedback from parents/children.
After working independently as an activity lead for shortly after a year, running curriculum session and holiday clubs, I was progressed further into supportive management roles. Progressing into a school relationship management role, I became responsible for the effective communication between my company and the schools we provided a service to (and schools seeking to have us). This job felt significantly important to me as I understand communication with schools and parents is vital for ensuring positive progression within the company, and ensure our customers were happy with the service being received.
The primary role of this job was to ensure that our companies core values were being represent at all times, away from the shadowing/assessment of management. I was responsible for delivering highly engaging sessions to children which catered for individual differences and ensure progression for all. During this time, I had to be mature, responsible, and professional; I had to apply experience and knowledge to different circumstances to overcome barriers and differentiate effectively to ensure customers were happy. Furthermore, I was responsible for cooperating affectively with other team members to ensure hand overs were understood and beneficial to allow for progression when I wasn't present.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this company as it brought me great satisfaction to know I was making a difference to others, particularly children as that is something I would want for my younger siblings too. I understood that session I was delivering could help improve fine and gross motor skills for children, alongside empowering them to be confident and be themselves.
As an Online Shopping Assistant, I was responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders placed through an online platform by carefully selecting, packaging, and organising produce with a focus on quality and presentation.
This role required efficient navigation of the store to meet strict deadlines to prevent disruption to van departure schedules, allowing me to enhance my time-management skills. Effective communication was crucial as I had to collaborated with management, team members, and customers, therefore demanding me to adapt my communication style to suit various situations. Balancing both independent and team-based tasks, I developed and demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and confidence.
Through these responsibilities, I contributed to maintaining a positive store reputation by prioritising customer satisfaction and ensuring seamless service delivery.
