Support, advise and mentor colleagues and/or new starters about the handling of casework, useful contacts, best practice and lead by example wherever possible. Actively seek opportunities to celebrate success and reward performance in others.

To contribute to the development and delivery of London’s area-based plan.

· primary project lead for all academy-related operational processes within Greenwich.

· TRM for MATs based in Greenwich.

· lead casework to create strong, high-performing multi academy trusts and schools to help improve education outcomes and build system capacity.

· work autonomously or with minimal guidance to effectively manage complex casework with robust project plans, risk mitigations and clear measures for success.

• proactively manage the risks, effectively unblock complications and escalate as needed.
• Lead on delivering significant change and transfers within the agreed timescales, using initiative to source information, make effective use of desk instructions and guidance and refer as necessary to policy teams and DfE colleagues.
• prepare succinct and accurate project templates, presenting powerful, evidence-based recommendations for AB meetings.
• effectively manage key partners/stakeholders both internally and externally.

I was the lead contact for a large number of free school projects.

Key achievements:

· Successfully opened number of free schools – mainstream and Special schools.

· Effectively managed cancellation of a high risk project and protected department interests, and led on deferrals for 3 other projects.

· Led on Readiness to Open Meeting (ROM) for over 20 free schools projects as part of the preopening pilot unit.

· Led on reviewing financial plans for over 26 free schools projects for each stage of the preopening; pre-funding agreement; ROM; and Indicative funding letter. Successfully managed to get signed off all the financial plans on time for indicative funding –the final stage of the pre-opening process.
