Managment and Leadership skills

I briefly took up the role of rota manager, which introduced me to the challenges of managerial roles. I identified the need to take everyone on board, possess good communication and negotiation skills, and timely disseminate crucial changes as imperative for a good manager.

I have had previous encounters as an organising member for a regional conference during my post-graduation at a college event as a medical student.

I have expanded my skill set into my training by organising teaching workshops or courses or working as faculty for simulation scenarios.

As mentioned above, my leadership qualities are portrayed in my role as audit leads for a couple of projects now. Also, whenworking on calls, I take a leadership role on the clinical front when posed with an emergency scenario.

I have further supported my development through the East Midlands Leadership and Management Program, which I have completed.

I am pursuing a Fellowship in Leadership and Management in Health and Equity with NHSE alongside my clinical training and gaining more experience in this area by working on a few projects.
