.I was on work experience as a dispenser. My job role involved taking prescriptions from customers, checking stock levels and what is available or low in stock. Ordering medication from manufacture. Preparing and labelling medication so that a pharmacist can check and sign off before handing it over to customers. I also took in deliveries, checking details and content of deliveries and signing it off. Sorting out deliveries by organizing and restocking shelves accordingly. Another part of this job was to file paperwork correctly, such as delivery notes, prescriptions, and more. I was also trained to work around shop in chemist, which includes restocking shelves, organizing, checking products and dates on products and medications, assisting and serving customers buying products or medications which involved money handling. Charging customers correct amount of money, counting money, returning correct change, and logging card transactions with receipts.
