Data analysis - Spatial transcriptomics

BSc dissertation project analyzing gene expression within a glioblastoma mouse model sample, extracted using the innovative spatial transcriptomics technology; Visium 10X. The aim of my exploration was to stratify gene expression profiles based on location; peri-tumour & tumour bulk. I then preformed a regional comparative analysis determining wether areas of tumour exhibit varying gene profiles, correlating to regional specific molecular functions.

  • Developed stronger proficiency in translating data analysis findings into a comprehensive, scholarly dissertation.
