BSc dissertation project analyzing gene expression within a glioblastoma mouse model sample, extracted using the innovative spatial transcriptomics technology; Visium 10X. The aim of my exploration was to stratify gene expression profiles based on location; peri-tumour & tumour bulk. I then preformed a regional comparative analysis determining wether areas of tumour exhibit varying gene profiles, correlating to regional specific molecular functions.
During the initial roll out of Covid-19 vaccinations, I volunteered with the SA ministry of health to aid in the process of public vaccination against the pandemic.
