I have supervised numerous children of varying ages, consistently maintaining a clean, safe play environments, ensuring first-class child safety, security and wellbeing. Followed parent's instructions to maintain routines and schedules. I help with housekeeping, dishwashing, cleaning table and countertops and vacuuming. I only baby sit when needed.
During my time at Kin Lounge, my main area of work was receiving the orders at the front till, and helping out with handling drinks with the main bartender. During this time I got experience with receiving and inputting orders into the till system, prepping drinks, and serving them to the tables. I loved being able to work with other people behind the bar and I was able to work well with my colleges which created a nice work flow for all of us.
I took the role as the marketing manager for my band as our assigned project was to create an EP, release it and preform it. I conducted a market research to get an understanding of the publics interest, created a marketing strategy to use across our social medias, communicated with my band about visuals and how we wanted to present ourselves so that I could put together a visual board. Produced promotional materials such as posters to pin around college and, popular areas in the city as well as, handing out flyers to locals and going into stores and restaurants, giving them to the workers.
I had the opportunity to work with Sinfonia Viva who are an orchestra based in Nottingham. My colleagues and I had Sinfonia Viva come to our class and we got to learn and create with them for 4 weeks as the end goal was to make something original to perform at Derby Theatre. As a singer, I worked alongside my vocal colleagues, we practiced songs we were given and songs that we wrote and learning sign language for a few song as well as joining with our instrumental colleges and putting the lyrics and vocals together with the music
