My main responsibility was to help stock donations we received, I would usually stock these in the back with my manager. Stocking the donations was a multi layered process, I would first empty the bag and go through each outfit/item and check if it was in good condition, as in there was no stains or something we would not be able to clean.
If there was some dirt, I would clean it with some wipes and that would usually suffice. I would then find the appropriate size normally found on the clothing item, and then I would look to our size conversion sheets, we would get clothes made from all over the world so I would look at that sheet and convert it from EU, France, Italy, Germany and find the appropriate UK size. After finding this, I would then grab a hangar and attach it to the shirt, trouser, etc. If it was something that does not need to be hung, I would just attach a sticker with the right size.
After doing the aforementioned two steps, I would hang the shirt, trouser, jacket, skirt, on a rack that stated "NOT STEAMED", someone else would come in on a day that I was not working, and would steam the clothes for it to be presentable in the store.
Main responsibilities was to take orders through the cashier, fry fish and chips.
Other main responsibilities was to work with my colleagues who were on the grill side of the kitchen.
I targeted these responsibilities by taking orders quickly and efficiently. I fried the fish to the optimal condition where it was not to burnt or under-cooked. I fried the chips by just monitoring the temperature and taking out all the chips quickly into the chip basket area, so I could go to my other responsibilities.
