I am a tenacious, reliable and passionate Fashion Design BA student, with an innovative mindset and an eye for detail. I problem solve through art and design, and pride myself on being ambitious and charismatic in all aspects of life. I am open minded and I value sincerity, clear communication and efficiency. I've learned to adapt after moving to England from Washington D.C. in my early teens, and I would consider myself worldly, mature and level-headed. I work well under pressure, in teams, while also being independent. I am eager to learn and develop my skills, and I am very ready to take on employment to help better society.
I looked after children between the ages of 3 and 8 in my village. The responsibility of caring for other people's children taught me independence, adaptability and to be reliable. Safety, hygiene, communication and efficiency were also attributes I gained from babysitting.
I assisted in the upkeep of historical garments used for plays, and I helped backstage in makeup, hair, and costume styling. I worked on a number of different theatre events that were attended by much of the public in the area.
This experience gave me communication and organisation skills, by working to deadlines in a team. I also adapted to different creative demands to help achieve artistic vision, while furthering my knowledge and skills in clothing, make up and hair.
I completed silver DofE.
I've ran 7k's for charitable organisations.
I've volunteered to work after school to clean up and help it's sustainability.
I've taught children from 4-8 to count and read.
I have work experience in helping a fashion designer with a final collection.
