- Despite being a graduate position, I was given a great deal of responsibility and opportunity for growth as a civil design engineer. I was responsible for delivering increasingly large projects, eventually reaching a point where I would manage and delegate tasks to junior members of the team, developing my project management and leadership skills. Specialising as a drainage engineer, I often be faced with challenging scenarios which would require me to think outside of the box, allowing me to hone my situational problem-solving skills.

- In the form of a six-month secondment, I was given the opportunity to gain experience working on a construction site as a site engineer. I was responsible for directing ground workers and assisting by ensuring critical project tasks were completed. This job had a great deal of emphasis on problem solving and using critical thinking whilst on the move and under high pressure. This was without a doubt the most challenging but equally rewarding experience, allowing me to gain confidence by being thrown in the deep end.

- This was the second restaurant I had worked for during their grand opening. - I’m a music producer and DJ who has played at numerous high-profile events across South Wales and hosts a weekly radio show on ‘Diff Radio’. I am also an avid runner, often taking part in marathon runs for charity.
