• Responsibility to adhere to the Company's Health and Safety policy at all times and operate and promote the development of quality standards and procedures taking ownership of tasks and to seek new improved ways of doing things
• The management and development of the Stores team
• The timely and accurate control of all physical and system movements
• H&S within stores areas and safety checks for works vehicles, FLTs and racking
• Warehouse hygiene and housekeeping
• Proactive supply of landside stores and movement of WIP

• Running a team of approximately 20, all of whom are working in a varied, fast paced production and warehouse environment, ensuring perfection when producing and despatching from a range of over 46,000 SKUS
• With around 100-150 orders requiring despatching daily, with an average of 2,000 SKUS and customer lead times of 24hrs-5 days, attention to detail with minimal errors is essential

• Attending Monthly Directors meetings to identify areas of concern, actions needed to increase efficiency and to report on monthly success
• Working with purchasing to ensure all stock is purchased in the most cost effective, quickest manner, to ensure customer lead times are hit, whilst minimising space utilised in the warehouse
• Scheduling the daily production for customised goods, planning using supplier ETA's vs customer expected ETA's
• Managing recruitment and staff training in an area with a high staff turnover
• Ensuring pick accuracy is at 98% or higher
• Maximising space for an ever-evolving stock holding
• Managing deliver partners and negotiating new terms in a drive to minimise cost and maximise value for money
• Ensuring all staff were fully trained, compliant and working safely on a daily basis
• Project Managing Import Purchase Orders and their arrivals
• Liaising with key stakeholders in the purchasing of the own brand products, the planning of the post purchase activity is critical to the day, as the arrival of multiple containers takes away a large percentage of space and company resource
• Staff planning including regular temp workers for busy periods and project work
• Key Achievements Implementing realistic, worthwhile KPI's that keep the staff motivated, whilst ensuring the business is performing as it should do
• Making these KPI's visible throughout the warehouse, so that they became a way of life and ensured the team worked as a team, but were responsible for their own actions
