Accomplishments

  • At Baxter Healthcare National Distribution Centre (NDC), selected to drive a major project from NDC on behalf of the Head of Operations. In 2016, Baxter split in to two separate entities. My role was to deliver the successful transfer of inventory valued at 30 million dollars of acute haemophilia treatments in full from the NDC to a new site. The inventory checks, management and labour for this project were completed with no issues to report due to my organisational skills and efficiency
  • Showing willingness and a desire to learn and succeed, stepped up in to an unofficial Deputy Operations Manager role for a period of 18 months to support the warehouse Operations Manager and was responsible for assisting with planning the NDC warehouse operations whilst the Operations Manager was placed on project work. This opportunity gave me fantastic exposure to the financial aspects of management and gave me invaluable experience of assisting with the successful management of 60-70 employees
  • Showing initiative and forward thinking, identified the requirement for a new performance monitoring system, gathering key facts on what metrics the warehouse should be managing performance against, and identifying realistic and achievable targets based on a time in motion project. Tasked with working closely with the Systems Manager to create a new performance monitoring tool that gave the business the ability to forecast planning accurately versus productivity and employees, the foundations to deliver against realistic KPI’s
  • Strong communicating and listening skills
  • Organisational and administration skills
  • Forward thinking with great business awareness.
