• Act as the primary contact for all technical queries related to audio/visual equipment, both internally and externally.
• Ensure that all venue technical equipment is maintained to required standards and that certifications are kept up-to-date.

• Oversee the recruitment and daily booking of venue ancillary staff, such as stage crew.
• Act as an in-house engineer for sound and lights, and recruit and manage a team of engineers to work for the venue as needed.
• Oversee local council inspections when required.
• Conduct a pre-show checklist before every event to ensure the building is safe and ready for public admittance.
• In collaboration with the company's facilities department, develop and implement an ongoing maintenance program for the venue's technical equipment.

Experienced Live Event Equipment Manager with a proven track record of managing company assets and resources, assisting colleagues with the workflow surrounding the preparation of equipment and storing of equipment, and assisting the Operations and Projects Department with the specification and selection of equipment.

• Expertise in briefing, directing, and coordinating technicians within the warehouse.

• Proven ability to control all stock in and out of the warehouse, ensuring that all equipment is accounted for and properly stored.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technicians, project managers, and clients.

At Cameron's I work within the Production department which mainly works with high budget corporate Live, Streaming and Hybrid events.

My Main duties include:

• Analyse and establish new AV processes and/or improve existing processes, to bring efficiency, productivity, and positive experiences to Cameron Clients.
• vMix Operator & vMix programmer for Cameron Live, for streaming and Hybrid events.
• Familiar with the Microsoft suite.
• Act as deputy to the Project Manager and assist with planning events.
• Be professional, discrete and have service-minded communicationwith customers and co-workers in all modes: telephone, email, instantmessage, text or in person.
• Competent in prepping and operating a wide range of AV equipmentand having a good understanding of various AV areas: Lighting, Sound, Video, Projection, Switches and Routers, Microsoft Suite, PTZ cameras, Rigging, Power, Staging and Set.
• Keeping up to date with latest technologies in the AV field.
• Always maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliancewith Cameron Health and safety policies.

I enjoyed over 10 years working closely with the production team and the Artistic Director on a large number of shows and events. In that time, I was promoted to Technical Manager as a result of my hard work and dedication and was responsible for managing a team of seasonal freelancers. Working with Cumbernauld Theatre was an exciting and rewarding role.

The Arches was a multi-arts venue with a capacity of 2,500 with a varied programme of theatre, Live music, conference events and a late night club.

• Liaising with visiting companies and promoters regarding their technical requirements
