2019-2023 - Forklift engineer apprentice

I was responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. I learned to inspect and troubleshoot machinery, replace parts, and ensure equipment is in safe working order when going back to the customer. Under the supervision of experienced engineers, I also receive hands-on training in operating forklifts, following safety procedures, and adhering to industry standards. I work closely with my mentors to gain practical experience while continuing to develop their technical skills , I attended F-TEC is this time which is a forklift college I was down there every 3 month doing various courses I.E Electrics , hydraulics, chassis and health and safety.

Parts role,

My job as the parts I was responsible for managing the inventory and supply of parts for forklifts and other material handling equipment. My duties include identifying and sourcing the right parts, processing orders, and ensuring that parts are available for repair or maintenance work. I also assist technicians by providing accurate parts information, coordinating deliveries and maintaining organized stockrooms. In addition, I had to interact with customers to help identify specific parts needed for repairs and provide recommendations based on their needs. Strong knowledge of forklift components and inventory management is essential for this role.

Service Assistant role,

My job as service assistant at Windsor , provides administrative and operational support to the service department. My responsibilities were include scheduling maintenance and repair appointments, opening and closing work orders, coordinating with technicians, and communicating with customers about service updates. I also assist with processing invoices, ordering parts, and maintaining service records to ensure accurate documentation. By keeping the workflow organized and supporting both customers and technicians, I helped ensure timely and efficient equipment servicing.
