Summary

I am not someone who is afraid of hard work; I would rather be doing something than nothing. I have always been a people person and I get enjoyment from helping those who need it. I look forward to a challenge and pushing myself to do better, achieve something new. I believe that I am a good team player, supporting colleagues when I can. With Palmer and Harvey (now collapsed) I increased my area sales by roughly 30% in 2 years. With Wolseley I have been responsible for increasing branch sales, finding new business and hitting targets year on year. I have many years' experience dealing with customers, sales targets, stock, complaints, warehouse operations, profit margins, loss control, supervisory responsibilities, supporting new team members and so much more.

Outside of work I enjoy keeping myself active, preferably going to the gym; I also played five-a-side football for a good 20 years. I support animal and children’s charities. I have dedicated time to a cat sanctuary and even spent a bit of time with horses. I also enjoy long dog walks. I am divorced but a father of two children; as a family we loved days out to new places.
