• I worked at Ridings Sawmill, where I operated a loading shovel while also carrying out jobs inside the mill. Some of the day-to-day duties I carried out include.
• Managing stockpiles and bunkers of varied materials.
• Loaded trailers with varied materials, maintaining safe handling, and following strict site procedures.
• Operated the control panel in order to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment safely.
• Maintained a clean working area.
• Stacked timber and logs to maximise inventory space.
• Meeting strict deadlines for product delivery.
• Recorded production and operational data.

• I started my career at Auchencarroch landfill site as a temp general operative. It was not long before I was given a full-time contract and moved on to a multitude of different roles, becoming an extremely important member of the team. These roles varied, such as.
• Loaded and unloaded vehicles and trailers using loading shovels, telehandlers, and material handlers, maintaining safe handling and movement of materials on-site.
• Operated and managed the MRF material recovery facility.
• Maintained the site drainage system and settlement lagoons to keep up with regulatory requirements.
• Handled the upkeep of all site plant.
• Managed and coordinated site traffic
• Adhered to all aspects of heath and safety and environmental legislation
• Executed routine activities following strict site procedures
