I developed an interest in finance in 2022 while studying IGCSE Business Studies and Accounting, which introduced me to fundamental concepts in business finance and financial markets. This early exposure led me to independently analyse and engage with financial markets, including equities, foreign exchange, and cryptocurrencies. Due to limited opportunities to pursue formal finance qualifications in my home country, I strategically chose a business and management academic pathway as a route to continue my studies in finance in UK. Alongside my studies, I am an active member of my university’s Investment Society, where I have gained academic access to the Bloomberg Trading Terminal and further practical exposure to market analysis from 2022 to the present.
