- Maintaining all SOPs of BOF operation like scrap charging , metal charging , de-slagging, sample ,temperature & heat tapping.
- Responsible for equipment while heat tapping regarding TLTC, SPTC placement, track & alley cleanness, drive readiness.
- Maintaining a good & effective communication with senior and colleagues during any abnormalities.
- Responsible for proper cleaning of BOF mouth jam, body jam IB jam.
- Ensuring safety while doing job.
- Responsible for proper steel tap with 0 phos. revers.
- Responsible for good de-slagging with no metal wastage.
- KR (Desulphurization Unit) Operation, Control-room Engineer (350 T HM Ladle)
- Maintaining SOPs of all the area in KR Operation.
- Competent in KR operation.
- Maintaining control room important and necessary parameters
- Maintaining the addition of materials effectively into the 350T HM ladle.
- Maintaining operation parameters of KR as per requirement and take necessary action with senior consultant.
- Ensuring batching and addition of materials into HM Ladle according to sequence and correct if any deviation found.
- Ensuring safety while doing job in related areas.
- Ensuring continuous and minimum delay of treatment of HM Ladle from Pouring station to KR.
- Maintain smooth and effective KR operation.
- Active involvement in shutdown and startup.
- Maintaining a good and effective communication with seniors about any abnormalities
- Maintain proper Desulphurization Chemistry necessary requirement for smooth operation.
- Updating materials requirement in KR periodically

- Coordination with both inchargers for torpedoes (380 T & 180 T) and ladles.
- Coordinating with crane operators to transport hot metal ladles from Pouring Station to KR then BOF.
- Timely pouring of hot metal into ladle for smooth operation.
- Properly communicate with Blast Furnace Incharge and Weigh Bridge Incharge for place load Torpedoes and remove empty Torpedoes.
- Ensuring safety while doing job in pouring station.
- Ensuring proper cleaning and housekeeping of pouring station.
- KEY ACHIEVEMENTS IN SMS PROJECT (5 MTPA GREEN FIELD)
- KR & POURING STATION PROJECT:
- Execution and commissioning activity of KR & Pouring Station Project.
- Experience in KR & Pouring Station Project.
- Manage Project Execution from beginning to End I.e. Engineering, Construction & Commissioning.
- Add all interlock and safety interlock in respective areas as per F'D
- Successfully commissioned 6 nos. 350 T Hot Metal and 350 T KR Ladle Transfer Car with proper coordination with contractor.
- Equipment erection and commissioning, supervision and co-ordination with erection contractors for Kanbara Reactor(KR) & Pouring Station.
- Erection of equipment & other accessories as per drawing or to suit at site and its support structures.
- Improved safety interlocks in KR operation.
- Completed the Job Hazard Assessment to identify any hazards related to job tasks and to apply security mitigation techniques for reduced risk.
- Supervision and coordination with the contractor for all work on site, such as: - Site preparation, material loading and unloading, material shifting
