  • Extensive expertise in marine piling works, including gantry piling, sheet piling, and Mait piling, crucial for the Ship Lift Facility Project and SBC-2 submarine assembly line in Visakhapatnam.
  • Hands-on experience in raft foundations, deck slabs, and superstructure works, contributing to the civil and structural development of the ship lift facility and submarine construction yard.
  • Proven track record in construction of service gallery trenches, ensuring seamless integration of underground utility networks for defence infrastructure.
  • Direct involvement in the ₹1,084.54 crore first-phase investment of the Ship Lift Facility Project, which is part of the larger ₹3,500 crore naval infrastructure development.
  • Experience in supporting the assembly line infrastructure for six P-75A class SSNs (nuclear-powered attack submarines) at SBC-2, integrating civil works with the modular submarine hull fabrication and assembly process.
  • Involved in the installation and coordination of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and ELV systems, ensuring seamless integration within the Design & Build (D&B) execution model.
  • Strong knowledge of structural stability, load distribution, and reinforcement techniques, ensuring compliance with defence and naval engineering standards.
  • Experience in workshop equipment setup and augmentation of MTC, supporting the efficient production and integration of submarine components at SBC-2.
  • Preparation & Approval of BBS, ensuring structural accuracy for ship lift and submarine assembly facilities, and obtaining approvals from concessionaire officers.
  • Execution of Work in compliance with Afcons Infrastructure’s EPC standards, adhering to technical drawings, defence specifications, and industry codes.
  • Marine Piling & Structural Foundations, ensuring stability for ship lift, dry docks, and submarine assembly yards at SBC-2.
  • Quality Control & Safety Compliance, maintaining high standards in construction practices, implementing strict safety protocols for high-security naval defence projects.
  • Material & Resource Planning, optimizing usage to minimize waste and enhance efficiency in a ₹3,500 crore phased defence project.

 Summary: Investigated the impact of project management tools and cloud technology on efficiency, collaboration, and scheduling in small-scale civil engineering projects. Identified challenges such as cost, integration, and adoption barriers. Proposed data-driven, cloud-based strategies to enhance project execution, optimize resource allocation, and promote sustainable construction practices.  

This research aligns with the UK's current civil engineering landscape, which is experiencing a significant skills shortage, particularly in construction and green energy sectors. The government's commitment to investing £164 billion in major infrastructure and construction projects by 2025 underscores the demand for innovative project management solutions to address workforce gaps and improve productivity.  HAYS UK
