  • Ensure that clinical skills are maintained and be prepared to work clinically if paediatric service requires support and assistance.
  • Undertake the Divisional Matron of the Day role ensuring that operational and staffing challenges are mitigated and managed across the Division, linking in with Divisional Manager of the Day other clinical areas across Divisions.
  • Work as part of a Children and Young people senior leadership team alongside the Paediatric Community Matron, Family Service Managers, Paediatric Clinical Lead, Family Service Clinical Director and Head of Children's therapies ensuring the whole CYP service is maintains a high profile within the wider organisation, sharing good practice and innovations and escalation risk in a timely manner when required to do so.
  • Actions plans are tracked through Governance meetings and areas of non-compliance are escalated through Divisional.
