With over 20 years of recruitment experience, I am passionate about Customer Service, delivering the best possible service to internal and external customers, therefore have a very good work ethic and drive to do my job well. Group 1 Automotive is a global Automotive Retail Business, with 114 dealerships in the UK.


I am primarily responsible for all Recruitment for our Toyota and Lexus Dealerships based across the UK, however support all other brands within the business as and when required.

This is a very fast paced high volume role. Often Recruiting for over 50 roles at any one time. This requires excellent time management, organisation and planning skills.


  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  • Determine selection criteria
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Write consistent high-quality job descriptions and adverts and post on various Job Boards and social media platforms
  • Lead employer branding initiatives
  • Organise and attend job fairs, Open Days, Assessment Centres and recruitment events
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
  • Liaising with Recruitment Agencies ensuring they are compliant with process and contractual obligations
  • Ensure everyone complies with the Groups recruitment sign off and candidate offer processes
  • Writing and delivering training material to support internal stakeholders with recruitment best practice and new processes
  • Regularly supporting projects that enhance recruitment strategies, processes, and employer branding
