I am local to Shepperton (Weybridge) and have worked in the advertising film industry for more than 30 years, both in film production companies and in advertising agencies (where I am currently employed).
I have loved both sides, but the daily commute to London and the ever-decreasing budgets and deadlines are finally taking their toll on me so I have been looking to embrace a new flexibility in working life style, and search for a role closer to home but still within the industry I love, and I have genuinely been waiting for a position like this to come along.
I am organized and dependable, and successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I am always willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
In my role as an agency producer, I have enjoyed building relationships with clients and suppliers and I know the importance of excellent communication skills and pride myself on being a ‘people person', but am always happy to work independently or as part of a team – whichever is required of me at the time.
To work at the iconic Shepperton Studios would mean that I would be able to stay in an industry that I love and am passionate about, and where I would still have daily contact with the film world ‘family'.
It's great to hear that you embrace diversity and inclusivity - as a member of the ‘older generation' (just!), that is music to my ears as I want to continue to work for many more years, especially if I can stay within the film world.
I would be so grateful to meet with you and discuss this opportunity further and answer any questions you may have about me and my work history.
Thankyou,
Sarah Sharp
