I was employed as a long-term supply to cover a maternity leave in the PE department. When one maternity finished I was kept on to cover another maternity leave in the same department. Although on supply I took pride in maintaining a strong working ethos and participated fully in department activities, taking on exam groups and after-school sports teams to attend competitions.
During my time at Oldbury Academy I held various teaching positions. I was initially employed as a PE teacher and School Sports Co-ordinator with responsibility for improving the National Curriculum PE within the local primary schools. I later took on the responsibility for KS3 PE within the department.
