  • Programme Management – Design and implement two (2) business support staff programmes – Managers Development and the Global Business Functions Development Programme
  • Meet with key people around the firm to understand the firms/staffs needs
  • Devising business plan detailing the business need, costs, and the benefit to the firm

  • SRA Regulatory Process for Fee Earners – manage the process by which the fee earners who are England and Wales Qualified must abide by to stay compliant
  • Ensure that reflection logs are kept up-to-date and are submitted by the deadline
  • Offer support and guidance to those completing the reflection logs to ensure the right information is being included
  • Liaise with the firm’s compliance team to provide updates as to where we are with regards to completion.
  • Compliance Training Implementation – Implement a new provider for the firms Agile working online learning
  • This involved understanding what the firm was looking for, liaising with providers, and understanding their products, doing provider comparison document which was shared with the key stakeholders
  • Once a decision was made, I was then involved in the implementation process, ensure that the old provider was notified, the new product was added to our LMS and tested before launched out to our new joiners.
  • Training Sponsorship process – providing support for those seeking sponsorship for training and ensuring the correct process is being followed
  • This involves speaking with the delegate to understand what the requirement is, making sure they have completed a training request form
  • This then provide a platform for me to discuss the requirement with the delegates sponsor to ensure that everyone is aware of what is required, commitment and the firm’s expectations
  • This is followed by me drafting a sponsorship agreement which is reviewed by the sponsor and then signed by the delegate.
  • New Joiner Inductions – Providing a point of contact in L&D for those joining the firm, both in our London office and internationally
  • Deliver a 60-minute session on the who’s who in L&D, what services we can provide, training available to them and what they are expected to complete within the first couple of weeks of joining the firm.

  • Topics include How a law firm operates, Proofreading and presentation skills
  • Group sizes range from 1 to 20
  • I have also provided help with facilitating workshops that are being run by another trainer.
  • Compliance training - Managed the distribution of compliance training across the business
  • Ensure the correct compliance training has been assigned to the right people and that the completion deadline is met
  • Provide help with chasing people who haven’t complete the training in time.
  • Learning Workshop Management – Provide support to those delivering training by ensuring that the meeting rooms are booked, set up and that the relevant catering and equipment is supplied, according to the requirement
  • Ensure all equipment is set up and running and that all training material is printed and bound prior to the start of the workshop.
  • Administration – Provide daily admin support to the team by receiving and arranging payment of all learning invoices, logging participants who have attended training on company training records, completing, and sending NDAs for new suppliers
  • Source external training courses, check availability and book accordingly.

  • This involved liaising the LMS provider to design and brand the system according to the Company requirements, directed the system configuration and data migration of staff records
