Sarah Leaver

Licensed Conveyancer (qualified 2016, 10 years PQE) with over 20 years' experience in residential conveyancing. Began career as a Customer Manager with Countrywide in 2004, progressing to Legal Assistant before completing the company's first ever Trainee Lawyer programme and advancing to Senior Property Lawyer level through continued development and exposure to increasingly challenging work.

Currently working as a Conveyancer (informally recognised as a Pod Leader) at Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers (CDPL), following the merger of Countrywide Conveyancing Services (CCS) and Connells' conveyancing business in 2022. Responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of lawyers, supporting their progression from Associate through to Senior level.

Lead a high-performing 'pod' of 3 lawyers with strong and consistent results, achieving excellent FEEFO scores, zero written or LEO complaints to date, and no material write offs. The pod regularly ranks towards the top of the internal exchange leaderboard and has maintained zero attrition over a period of more than 3 years - an exceptional result within the wider business.

Highly diligent and self motivated with a keen eye for detail. Confident, articulate and adaptable, with a strong focus on client service, risk management and efficient file progression. Extensive experience in complex title matters, combined with a proven ability to develop and support high-performing teams.
