Upon returning from travelling, I successfully launched as self-employed following a year of valuable skill development and dedicated service in a small Edinburgh-based cleaning company.

• Organisation - managing full weekly Rota of clientele efficiently within precise daily time schedules. Adapting to individual client needs accordingly.
• Reliability - highly dependable, consistent, respectful and trustworthy. Regularly assisting in extra child minding, pet sitting and home sitting duties.
• Networking - acquiring professional and longstanding relationships with new and existing clients. Building community within these circles has really benefited business and personal growth.
• Communication skills - Understanding client needs and requesting feedback is key to providing outstanding service.
• Attention to detail - tailoring bespoke and ad-hoc cleaning schedules with every job and providing exceptionally high standards throughout.
• Managing finances - daily transactional tasks including invoices, receipts and business record keeping. Yearly reports and tax returns.
• Endurance - building upon a strong work ethic to endure the challenges of self employment, consistently striving for great standards in approach to great service and meeting client needs.

Obtained Working Holiday Visa in 2013, engaging in various roles within cafes throughout Australia for 18 months during my backpacking journey.

Engaged in diverse roles within highly regarded venues in Edinburgh such as The National Galleries Scotland: Modern One and Modern Two. Edinburgh Portrait Gallery and The Stables at Hopetoun House .

• Long term and main role as supervisor for EICA cafe, overseeing barista tasks and general cafe responsibilities.
• Food prep and Baking roles in Kitchens.
• Delivered exceptional high standard hospitality services for corporate events including The Queens Garden Party at Holyrood Palace.

Based in Edinburgh’s largest grossing Costa Coffee stores I was trained as Barista Maestro followed by promotion to Assistant Manager.
