I am a hard-working and reliable programme manager with extensive experience in project management in a public sector environment. I have strong skills in stakeholder engagement, programme delivery, as well as reporting writing, risk management and line management.
I am responsible for managing Perinatal Mental Health Network Scotland. My responsibilities and key achievements include:
- Autonomous management of Programme workplan and reporting progress against milestones.
- Development and roll out of national data dashboard for specialist perinatal mental health services. This includes delivering training to clinical teams, planning delivery and continually improving the dashboard based on stakeholder feedback.
- Lead on projects within work plan. For example, evaluation of specialist roles which includes planning, data collection and analysis as well as report writing and sharing recommendations.
- Act as key contact for network.
- Responsible for recruitment and induction of staff.
- Line management of project staff.
- Reporting progress through governance structures and escalating risk as required.
My role of Programme Manager involved management of various national quality improvement projects. Key tasks included:
- Planning and communication of national quality improvement collaboratives. This included creating a clear programme aim, timescales for learning cycles and recruitment of teams from territorial boards.
- Data collection and analysis.
- Oversight of national learning session events of approximately 200 people. The last event I led on was a hybrid event with numerous breakout sessions and high profile speakers.
- Lead Programme Management Office (PMO) structure to support delivery of 'Essentials of Safe Care'. This included reporting progress, project planning, allocating resource and management of the project team.
