  • Developed a centralised resourcing process, to ensure that the Airbus D&S Geospatial Business UK units were allocated the required technical resources to deliver their projects within an agreed timescale.
  • Developed a skills matrix to support the work with Technical Team Managers to ensure that their teams were fully utilised and that any holes in the skillset were identified. A strategy for continual improvement was devised.
  • Responsible for managing the procurement process for software development services for the Newcastle office including establishing and maintaining the relationship with outsource partners and overseeing the publication of RFP’s and evaluation of the responses.
  • Responsible for facilitating recruitment activity across Airbus D&S Geospatial Business UK. Liaising with internal HR and recruitment agencies to ensure that CV's are supplied, reviewed and feedback is provided in a timely manner. Scheduling and supporting interviews as required and checking Right to Work documents.
  • Worked with Airbus HR and Recruitment agencies to understand the implications of the revised IR35 rules on the Temporary Workers within Airbus D&S Geospatial Business UK and to implement any changes.
  • Organised and led two Innovation events where employees across the business were invited to come together to share and explore new ideas for ways to develop the offerings portfolio. Teams developed ideas into business proposals for presentation to, and feedback from, influential people across the business.

  • Pilates & Walking - Health and wellbeing is important to me. Pilates helps me with my strength, flexibility and balance which are essential to enjoying walks along the Northumberland Coast.
  • Music - I have an eclectic music taste and enjoy live music
